5 Coffee Stops to Try in Rocky Point, Mexico

During our first week exploring Puerto Peñasco, I was surprised by how many coffee shops we found tucked throughout the city. As someone who enjoys a good frappe on the weekend, I made it my goal to try as many as possible. I now visit a new café almost every week, and these are my favorites so far. If there’s one I should try next, let me know!

1. Toxic Coffee Shop

This one caught my eye right away for the unique name and paintings on the building. I enjoyed a Brownie Frappe with 1 shot of espresso and I think they had a great balance of sweetness and strength.

2. Pasillo de Humo Cafe

I pass by this shop daily, and decided to try it for the first time last week. I ordered the caramel frappe and was impressed with the flavor. The sweetness was just right!

3. Besties Pink Cafe Co.

Google Maps

This cafe is hard to miss. it features pink decorations, seating, and photo ops on the inside and out. I would definitely return for the experience, but the coffee itself was not as strong as I like.

4. Bruma Coffee

Drive-Up | Accepts Cards

Google Maps

You can find this coffee shop off of highway 8. It is inside the Pemex gas station and you can even drive up and they will take your order from your car! My kids loved the oreo milkshake.

5. Caffenio

Drive-Thru | Accepts Cards | Order Ahead in the App

Caffenio is a large coffee chain in Mexico with a good variety of drinks and bakery items. I really enjoyed the Rockaccino Pistache & warmed cinnamon roll. They have a touch screen menu in the drive thru for a low pressure ordering system.
